We stayed at this Best Western when we were visiting family in Clear Lake. This hotel exceed our expectations and had great value for the money. The rooms were clean, functional and The beds were very comfortable. The restaurant had a good breakfast with a wide variety of choices and a fun atmosphere with locals enjoying the hotel restaurant as well. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip down to see family.

Very nice place to stay in a town that doesn’t have a lot of great options. Staff was friendly, room was very clean, bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Only issues: Most Best Westerns include a free breakfast but this one doesn’t, water pressure on third floor could be better (was adequate), noise from other rooms was an issue (thin walls).
Even some five star hotels don’t have a fridge and microwave, so definitely impressed. Friendly management and quiet establishment. Great amenities too (restaurants, hot tubs, etc…. Just a weekend trip and was five minutes from my family l was visiting which was fantastic. Would recommend.
In 2013, I stayed here. I forgot my car keys at the bar close by, after I left to join a Indian girl back to her reservation. Next day, they helped me call the closed bar. I'm forever grateful to them for helping me get my car keys so I could get out of Clear Lake.
The best place to stay in Clearlake. Rooms are good sized, clean & you dont have to worry about hearing whats going on in the rooms nextdoor or out in the hallway.. There are stores and places to get food within walking distance.
I had to give a reasonable rating even though there's definitely some areas of improvement. The customer service was great, the gentleman working the front desk was very accommodating. The price is higher than it should be (in comparison to other motels with similar rooms). The rooms were not cleaned well and there is some updating needed. We did like the suite and the pull out couch for our family. Unfortunately, the location probably makes it difficult for the company to invest in order to make a profit . .... I gave it a 4, but with no incentives like continental breakfast or 2 cocktails with the room , then it really should be a 3 star.
I stayed unexpectedly on July 29th without having a reservation. I asked a lot of stupid questions; they (both night and day clerks) were kind and patient with me. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. TM
